I've been home for summer vacation since June 3rd. I haven't done anything much since before reading a couple of books on fantasy and how-to-write a good story. Yes, I'm trying to get myself to read and read so I can then write and write. That's the rules of starting for writing a story-according to Terry Brooks. (I'm currently reading his book called Sometimes the Magic Works). I probably wouldn't be finding any job this summer but to ease the guilt that arises for not earning myself some money while spending so much of my parents', I decided to write a story and publish it in hope to receive a check in return. Money shouldn't be a consideration to my interest in getting published. But I have always wanted to get my stories published, so why bother worrying what other benefits it will land on my hands?
Anyways, so I'm busy these days reading and writing...

As for other activities and plans, I'll be spending several days in New York City and Long Island with my cousin and his parents. So my July 4th will actually take place there! Then, I'll be flying to China with a couple of friends. The plan to visit my aunt in Australia is now abandoned because my parents think it's ridiculous for me to have two winters this year (it's winter in Australia right now). Whereas, I can go there during Christmas break (which lasts 2 and a half week). During Christmas here, it'd be really warm in Australia. Well, that's my plan as of now...
Wish me an exciting summer. I think I deserve it after a year of hard work and stress and depression at my boarding school. *sighs*
